PPE Connect is a UK registered company (number 11612964) with its registered office at Unit 19, Wainwright Street, Aston, Birmingham, West Midlands, B6 5TJ on 9 October 2018 (we/us/our). We are the data controller in relation to all personal data you give to us in connection with the purchase of ppeconnect.uk products or from visiting our website at www.ppeconnect.uk (Website) and we are registered with the ICO to process personal data in the manner set out in this policy (registration number za547724).

  2. What data we take and how we use your data
    • We take your name, email address, billing address, shipping address and telephone number when placing an order, submitting an enquiry through our Website, entering one of our promotions, ecasts, or trade and consumer shows. We use this personal data primarily to perform our contract with, and sell our products to you, however it may be used for any of the purposes outlined in 2.
    • All payment details (such as bank account or payment card details) you provide to us in order to pay for your products will be processed through, and retained by, Shopify International Limited, a company registered in Ireland with its registered office on 2nd Floor, 1-2 Victoria Buildings, Haddington Road, Dublin 4 D04 XN32, Ireland (Shopify) – they are an affiliate of US company, Shopify, Inc. with servers located in the USA and Canada and they host our customer database..
    • We will use your name and email address for marketing purposes where we have your consent to do so. You can withdraw this consent and opt out from our marketing communications at any time. Please note that order related emails cannot be opted out of as they are generated automatically with every order and are evidence of your order confirmation.
    • When you correspond with us by phone or e-mail as part of our business with you, any of your personal data contained in any call or in that correspondence (including your IP address and location) will be retained by us.
    • We consider the personal data we obtain is reasonable and necessary for the purposes set out in 2. However, we review this intermittently and remove any inaccurate or obsolete data.
    • We also collect, use and share aggregated data and Google Analytics or similar such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated data could be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data will not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.   1. How long we keep it and where we store it
    • Once collected, your personal data will be retained by us for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, whilst you remain our customer (including any warranty provided by us to you), to market our goods to you (where requested) and to enable us to improve our Website. After this point, the data will be securely deleted and we will not contact you unless you ask us to.
    • You will remain our customer for up to 13 months after the date of your last order/booking. After this point, we may contact you by email to see if you’d like to remain on our database, and delete your data thereafter if not.
